Current preparation method → Doing PPQ, Revising Notes, Looking at Websites
I think that my preparation for mocks is sort of efficient. Doing PPQ is useful as it allows me to revise topics that I’ve covered from the previous year and practice my exam techniques. Sub-topics that I need to revisit before the lead up to the actual exams in May includes:-
- Macroeconomics
- The function of the banks
- Different policy (expansionary and contractionary monetary and fiscal) as well as the effects that they have.
- Business Organisation
- To gain more knowledge on how different business organization works as well as the differences between the way that they work as well as the range in the liability etc.
- Microeconomics
- How the demand and supply graph changes under different circumstances
- Price Elasticity of a product and how it relates to its demand and supply
- Internation Trade
- State the effects of different exchange rate on the changes in different countries supply and demand
- See what is included in the trade of services & goods etc.
- Formulas
- Revising the formulas for different aspects (i.e. PED, PES)
- Review which the different indexes consist of → CPI, HDI,
Strategies that I would implement again leading up to the May examinations may be to slightly decrease the amount of PPQ that I’m going to do, and instead, utilize this time to review some theories again through methods such as → watching relevant videos, reviewing notes (maybe… making flashcards that consist of key definitions and terminology).
